Houston Hearing on Home Buyer Arbitration
The Texas Residential Construction Commission is a new state agency designed to set standards for home construction. One of its duties is also to gather information about arbitration as it is used to resolve disputes between home builders and home buyers. The Commission's Arbitration Task Force is holding a hearing in Houston this Wednesday, September 29, at 6:00 pm. The hearing will be held at the Omni Hotel in West Houston at 13210 Katy Freeway. If you have had good or bad experiences with arbitration on a home purchase, or have suggestions about the arbitration process, this is a good time to present your views. No prior arrangements are necessary in order to participate in the hearing. For more information, please see the Commission's web site at www.trcc.state.tx.us. As always, let me know if you have questions or if we can help in any way.
