Nominations for Police/Firefighters Heroes Awards
The Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce is again sponsoring its annual Hometown Heroes Awards Luncheon next month. The awards honor police officers and firefighters who go above and beyond the call of duty in the Southwest Houston area. In general, I think that describes all of them, but if you know someone who especially fits that description, let the Chamber know about it! For a nomination form or any further information, call the Chamber at 713-666-1523 by Friday, August 4. The luncheon to honor the winners is Wednesday, August 23 at 11:30 at the Inter-Continental Hotel Houston, 2222 West Loop South.
