Max's Hearing Postponed Until Dec. 1
The hearing for the protest of the renewal of the liquor license for Max's club on Richmond will not take place tomorrow as originally scheduled. The hearing has been postponed until December 1 at 9:00 am. The attorney for Max's asked for the hearing to be postponed The city agreed to a delay after retaining the services of an outside attorney to handle the case. Since the outside attorney was brought on board only in the past 10 days, there was not enough time for him to prepare for this hearing if it was held when originally scheduled. Max's will continue to operate pending the outcome of the hearing.
