  • Early Vote Reminder and Polling Places for Election Day

Several important items regarding where and when to vote in the upcoming election.

1.) Early voting is underway, but today and tomorrow (Oct. 28-29) are the ONLY WEEKEND DAYS of early voting this year, due to a decision by the state leadership to reduce the number of early voting days.

The early voting polls will be open during the coming week, Monday-Friday, but will not be open next weekend.

For a complete list of early voting locations and hours, please see my web site at www.scotthochberg.com and click on "Find Where You Vote". Remember, any voter registered in Harris County can vote at any early vote location within the county.

2.) As in the past, you can use my web site to find your polling place for Election Day. Once the final list of polling places is available, you'll be able to enter your zip code and street number, and then select your street name, and the site will automatically list your polling place and its address.

3.) This year, I'm making that even easier for you. I'll email your polling location to you. Just go to www.scotthochberg.com and click "Find Where You Vote" to sign up, and I'll send you your Election Day polling location the weekend before Election Day. Remember that on Election Day (November 7) you can only vote at your assigned polling place.

    See you at the polls.

    Scott Hochberg
    State Representative
    District 137 - Southwest Houston
