  • Welcome! With my retirement from the Texas legislature, I am redesiging this site, and appreciate your patience. I will continue to offer some of the public service features I have offered in the past, including the very popular polling place locator.

To my former constituents in Districts 137 and 132, thank you for your support and friendship through the many years during which I had the privilege of representing our community in Austin.

I look forward to continuing to be involved in our community, though in perhaps less time-intensive ways. I am currently helping Mayor Parker on a project to improve the City of Houston's forensic science services.

    Again, thanks, and best wishes.
