- Some Houston History -
In recognition of Rice Univerisity's Centennial Celebration, I've posted an audio recording of KPRC-TV's live coverage of President John F. Kennedy's moon mission speech at Rice Stadium on Sept. 12, 1962. The recording includes a description of the event by the late Ray Miller, providing a historical feel for the times and nostalgia for longtime Houston residents.
